About 10 years ago, Mike and Suzanne Pawley set up the Happy Days Cambodian Village School Charity with a commitment to provide educational opportunities for children in a rural village area near Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Over the years the charity has supported the local community in many ways, including sponsoring projects to assist in the education of local children and sponsoring students to attend high school and university. Last year the Charity built an educational centre where English language classes are taught all day for ages 5 to 20.
Earlier this year, Director Mark Williams was lucky enough to visit the Centre, get involved in some classes and meet up with some old friends. And he’s shared a few photos from his visit with us below!
